Deborah S. Halvorsen is the Managing Member of Halvorsen Law Group, PLLC. Her principal area of practice is family law. She has practiced family law almost exclusively since being admitted to the Bar. Ms. Halvorsen has been a board-certified family law specialist since 2003 and has been honored as Woodward & White’s Best Lawyers in America, Legal Elite in Business North Carolina magazine and Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers in Charlotte magazine. She is a member of the Family Law Section at the North Carolina Bar Association, and former Section Chair and CLE Chair for the Family Law Section of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers. She received her B.A. Degree from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN, in 1995, and her J.D. Degree from Wake Forest University in 1998. Ms. Halvorsen is available for consultation on all family law matters including, but not limited to, custody, child support, alimony, and equitable distribution.
